Broadway: Glengarry Glen Ross, The Odd Couple, Three Days of Rain. Off-Broadway & regional theatre: Born Yesterday and An Inspector Calls, both at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre; Uncommon Sense at the Tectonic Theater Project; Burn All Night at the A.R.T.; King Kong and West Side Story at the Fugard Theatre in Cape Town, South Africa; 2011-2012 Yale Repertory Theatre season, which included an acclaimed production of Hamlet starring Paul Giamatti. Film: Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance (Academy Award), Dan in Real Life, Across the Universe, Then She Found Me, RENT, and Lucky Stiff, Give Me Liberty, Sweet Home Tennessee, and A Little More Alive, Akron, Take Care, 4 Eyes, and Hench casting, as well as over 100 commercials.
Under the leadership of Bernie Tesley (2003-2007) and Tara Rubin (2010-2012), and as an independent Casting Director, Stephanie has served on the casting teams for film projects, Broadway productions, and more than 100 commercials. She served as Senior Artistic Staff of the Hangar Theatre in Ithaca, NY from 2009-2013, and in the same position at Barrington Stage Company from 2014-2016. At BSC, Stephanie ran the Second Stage, producing mostly new musicals and plays, and running Mr. Finn’s Cabaret, with Award-Winning Composer William Finn. From 2009-2017 Stephanie served on the faculty of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. With Peter Flynn, Stephanie developed and ran a program that worked with graduating acting students to create a foundation for a unique and authentic career.
In 2015, Stephanie began working with Broadway, TV, and film producer Hunter Arnold and TBD Productions which is currently represented on Broadway with Once On This Island, Dear Evan Hansen, Anastasia, and Kinky Boots. In 2017, Hunter partnered with Stephanie and Margaret Dunn to launch TBD Casting, a division of TBD Productions.
